Store Associate
Camp Catskill is looking for a part-time Store Associate for our shop at 6006 Main St. in Tannersville.
The job is helping the people who walk in: finding what they came for, fitting them for boots, and talking through what they're doing outside that day. You would often be the only person here, so you're running the shop and you're the first face people meet.
The part that matters most isn't retail experience. It's being friendly, staying positive, and wanting to solve whatever problem is in front of you. A lot of what people ask has nothing to do with what we sell. Where should we eat, what's a good hike for our kids, is the parking full at Kaaterskill. Being comfortable answering that is a real part of the job.
The standard retail work comes with it too: pricing, restocking and merchandising, checkout, and keeping the place clean.

- $18 an hour to start
- 401(k) available after six months of service
- Part-time, roughly 14 to 20 hours a week
- Saturdays and Sundays are a must. Weekday fill-in hours come up as needed
