The Next Phase of the Hunter Regional Trails
Headed out into the woods today with some other members of the Hunter Area Trail Coalition to map out what will become the next publicly accessible section of the Hunter Regional Trails. When complete, this piece will connect the Kaaterskill Rail Trail in Haines Falls with the Huckleberry Rail Trail in Tannersville.
I haven't bushwhacked in a while, and forgot how fun it is to just wander around in the woods for a while, this time with the added bonus of thinking about the route of a future trail.
